Sand and snow, ...

She savors what her body can do.

Forging a path,

In space and time,

By advancing her feet,

Alternately, 

Carefully.

Always raising one foot,

Expectantly,

To Father Sky.

And lowering the other,

Confidently,

To Mother Earth.

Raising and lowering,

Again 

And again -

Strength and endurance,

Rhythm and grace.

Which is the time it takes for our sunlight To make its 93 million mile journey To the Land of Delight. So, the sun actually sets eight plus minutes before the sunset image we view from our little planet.
